Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of retail properties, ensuring seamless functionality and tenant satisfaction.
- Develop and execute property budgets and financial plans, with a strong emphasis on accurate forecasting and cost control.
- Oversee tenant relations, including promptly handling inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring lease compliance.
- Coordinate property maintenance and vendor management to ensure high-quality service and timely repairs.
- Negotiate and manage service contracts to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Lead leasing efforts and support marketing activities to attract and retain reputable tenants.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, emphasizing safety and operational standards.
- Monitor rent collections and address delinquencies in a professional and effective manner.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for property improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management with an emphasis on retail properties.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial planning, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex financial operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, essential for managing diverse teams and client relationships.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Excel, enabling efficient operations and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Broker’s license preferred but not required, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- 5-8 years of experience required for Property Management work in Operations setting.
- Familiarity with Iowa state property regulations and local business practices.
- Strong community orientation and understanding of Missouri Valley’s retail landscape.
