About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will work closely with decision-makers in the energy sector to provide financing solutions that align with their unique operational goals. You’ll manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to deal closure, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution. This is a high-potential role offering exceptional earning opportunities, with most representatives earning $150,000 or more by their second year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects within the energy and oil & gas industries.
- Engage with C-suite executives and financial decision-makers to identify their equipment financing needs.
- Design and present customized financing proposals tailored to client objectives.
- Build long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive follow-up.
- Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to structure and close deals.
- Leverage tools like Salesforce and industry databases to track prospects and manage accounts.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, financial services, or leasing (experience in the energy sector is a plus).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage and grow a sales pipeline.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $55,000 - $65,000 with uncapped commission potential.
- Average first-year earnings of $100,000; most representatives earn $150,000+ by year two.
