As a key player in the fintech sector, this company is at the forefront of innovation, focusing on payment processing and digital banking solutions. They are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team, and this could be your opportunity to make a significant impact.

About the Role

Imagine being part of a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to revolutionizing the fintech industry. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation and scalability of our digital products and services. With 4-7 years of experience under your belt, you’ll bring your expertise in cloud technologies, automation, and continuous integration to a team of over ten regional experts, each contributing their unique skills to our collective goals. The best part? You’ll do all of this from the comfort of your own home, avoiding the daily commute and gaining precious time back in your day.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of software, using the latest tools and technologies. Your day-to-day activities will include automating processes to enhance efficiency and reliability, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Your work will directly impact how customers experience our digital banking and payment solutions, making reliability and security paramount.

What You’ll Need

To excel in this position, you’ll need strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various locations. Experience with remote work tools and practices is crucial, as this will be your primary method of interaction. You should be self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a home office setup equipped with reliable internet. Required certifications include Google Cloud Professional and Azure Developer Associate, demonstrating your expertise in cloud environments. Familiarity with TypeScript, React, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Node.js, Kubernetes, and GraphQL will be essential to your success in this role.

Nice to Have

While not mandatory, additional certifications like Docker Certified Associate and Kubernetes Administrator would set you apart as a candidate. Experience in the fintech sector or familiarity with financial services and payment processors will also be an advantage, allowing you to better understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
