Key Responsibilities
As a Systems Administrator, you will be expected to manage and support our IT infrastructure with precision and expertise. Your key responsibilities will include:
- System Maintenance and Support: Oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
- Network Administration: Manage network servers and technology tools, ensuring optimal performance and security across platforms.
- User Support and Training: Provide technical support to team members and conduct training sessions to enhance their IT literacy, particularly focusing on sales development.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with a 10+ person regional team to document system configurations and workflows.
Regular travel to nearby major cities will be required, allowing you to broaden your professional network and exposure.
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or a related field.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Microsoft 365 Certified are essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise with VMware, Azure Active Directory, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, ServiceNow, and Terraform.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and user support.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your candidacy:
- Additional Certifications: CompTIA A+ and ITIL Foundation are highly desirable.
