Business Development Manager at Tustin Recruiting

Our client, a leading Third Party Logistics company based in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager. This role is ideally suited for individuals with a deep understanding of supply chain operations, contract negotiations, and RFP processes. The position offers the opportunity to work in the heart of California, with easy access to neighboring cities such as Elk Grove, Roseville, and Davis. Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role within the logistics industry
  • Proven experience managing large logistics accounts ($5M+)
  • Demonstrated success in developing customized supply chain solutions
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in logistics
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, financial modeling, and executive presentations
  • Excellent contract negotiation and RFP process skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic partnerships with enterprise clients to foster business growth
  • Identify potential new market opportunities and lead the development of strategies to capitalize on them
  • Manage large logistics accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Develop customized supply chain solutions to meet client needs
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive business success
  • Utilize CRM systems to track and report on business development activities
  • Create and deliver executive presentations to communicate business strategy and performance.

Pay/Benefits

The salary range for this position is $88,823 - $103,823 per year. Our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Further details will be provided during the interview process.
