DevOps Engineer at Tustin Recruiting
Our Client, a leading e-commerce platform, is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join their team in Irvine, California. Ideally located in the heart of Orange County, Irvine is surrounded by a number of thriving cities including Tustin, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and Lake Forest. This is a crucial role that involves maintaining and scaling the company’s infrastructure during high-traffic periods. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). They will also need knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic), CI/CD pipelines, and automation. Experience with microservices architecture and performance optimization is essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, IT, or similar role
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog or New Relic
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Experience with microservices architecture and performance optimization
Responsibilities
- Maintain and scale the company’s infrastructure during high-traffic periods
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and optimize microservices architecture
- Utilize monitoring tools to ensure system performance and reliability
- Collaborate with various teams to improve system efficiency and scalability
- Ensure system security and data protection
Pay/Benefits
- Salary range: $114,520 - $134,520 per year, commensurate with experience
