Our client, a well-known e-commerce platform, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Mountain View, California. This bustling city, nestled between Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, and Los Altos, offers the perfect blend of a tech-driven, dynamic environment and California charm. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and scaling their infrastructure during high-traffic periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a large scale e-commerce environment.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Solid knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- A deep understanding of microservices architecture and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a drive towards continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and scale the company’s infrastructure, particularly during high-traffic periods.
- Utilize tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) to optimize the platform’s functionality.
- Monitor platform performance using tools such as Datadog, New Relic.
- Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate processes to improve efficiency.
- Work with the development team to optimize the microservices architecture and ensure optimal performance.
Pay/Benefits
The salary range for this position is $109,387 to $129,387 per year. Our client also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
