Our client, a well-established and rapidly expanding e-commerce platform, is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Palo Alto, CA. Nestled in the heart of Silicon Valley, Palo Alto is conveniently located near other tech hubs such as San Jose, Mountain View, and Menlo Park. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and scaling the company’s infrastructure, especially during peak traffic periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a DevOps role.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Solid understanding of monitoring tools such as Datadog and New Relic.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Expertise in microservices architecture and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated system architectures.
- Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
- Handle code deployments in all environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve server and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand and address system requirements and improve products and services.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize the platform for maximum speed and scalability.
Pay/Benefits
The salary range for this position is $114,514 - $134,514 per year, depending on skills and experience. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
