Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, with a focus on cost-efficiency.
- Enhance and maintain container orchestration systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Implement and uphold stringent security and compliance measures across all systems.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, utilizing advanced tools to anticipate and resolve issues proactively.
- Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Manage database operations, including scaling and performance tuning.
- Develop and implement effective disaster recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to align infrastructure needs with business objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Lead initiatives to improve system scalability and flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS and Azure, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud platform functionalities.
- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, with the ability to deploy and manage containerized applications effectively.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and process improvement.
- Experience with monitoring tools and log aggregation to enhance system visibility and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices to protect data and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and their application in a cloud environment.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to manage and provision resources.
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering capacity within a software development setting.
- Familiarity with local regulations and compliance standards specific to the Vista, CA area.
